The files and resources below will assist with providing data to Encoura for various products, including Insights Cloud, Enrollment Lens, eMatch®, and Affinity Connection.
- File Name - The file name uploaded must use a .csv extension. Other than that, there are no requirements for the name of the file.
- File Format - The file format must be CSV, saved as UTF-8, "no BOM". See Saving a CSV with UTF-8 Encoding.
- Text Qualifiers - Each value in the file should be surrounded by a text qualifier ("value") to avoid any issues with punctuation.
- Required Fields - While all files uploaded will use the Encoura Standard Import Layout, each product has different requirements regarding the fields required and recommended. Please refer to the documentation below to determine which fields are required for the product you're using.
Data Center - Insights Cloud/Enrollment Lens, Affinity Connection, and eMatch® files can be uploaded and tracked using the Encoura Data Center Upload Files tab. From there you can create a new upload or track the progress of previous uploads. For more information about Encoura Data Center, click here.
SFTP - Enrollment Lens and Insights Cloud files can be uploaded via the Encoura Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) at upload.encoura.org. If you don't have an SFTP user account, email firstname.lastname@example.org with contact name and email address for the new user account. For more information about Encoura SFTP, click here.
API - Enrollment Lens and Insights Cloud files can be uploaded via Application Programming Interface (API). Please refer to the Encoura API Documentation for details.
