The Geomarket Detail report provides a view into each state with important data points. The report allows you to display data either based on the Total Market, or your Institution Visibility. This report contains static data (no filters) and is available by drilling down from a map OR from the Reports page.
Visualizations
The Geomarket Detail report includes the following visualizations and options:
Map
This visualization displays a map displaying the Geomarket selected. The map will initially display the most recent Grad Year but you also have the option to switch to previous years using the toggle.
By moving the cursor over the Geomarket, you will see the name of the area as well as the volume and percentage of students within the area.
Top Competitors
This visualization displays your top competitors within this geographic area based on shared visibility (Overlap). Each bar in the chart shows the following three data points:
Overlap - The number of students in this geographic area that expressed interest in both your institution and your competitor.
Unique to them - The number of students who expressed interest in your competitor but not with your institution.
Unique to us - The number of students who expressed interest in your institution but not with your competitor.
Average ACT
This visualization displays the Average ACT for students in this geographic area. The chart shows the average score for both the Total Market and for your Institution Visibility.
GPA
This visualization displays the Average GPA for students in this geographic area. The chart shows the average GPA for both the Total Market (indicated by the circle on the bar chart) and for your Institution.
Feeder High Schools
This visualization shows the High Schools where you have the most visibility. Each High School displays the Visibility as well as the number of Enrolled students. Clicking on the High School name will open the High School Detail report.
Mindsets
This visualization will display the Prospective Student Mindsets™ of students at this school. Mindsets are based on research from Eduventures and provide insights into the interests and motivations of students.
